A little family history

Jacque and I were both born and raised in Texas. We attended the same elementary school in Southwest Houston and graduated from Bellaire High School. We were married in August of 1972.

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1974 with a teaching certificate and degrees is psychology and education. Our two children were both born in Houston; Christa in August of '76 and Jake in December of '79.

In 1983, we moved to Lake Jackson and I began teaching sixth grade at Charlie Brown Intermediate School in West Columbia. Jacque went to work at Brazosport Eye Institute for Dr. Frank Grady. Christa and Jake both graduated from Brazoswood High School and Jacque has attended Brazosport College. Christa went to the University of Houston for two years then transferred to UT for her third year of college. Jake went to Texas Southern in New Braunfels for one year. Christa and Jake are now both working for ATT and living in the Austin area.

Christa is living the single life and Jake is living with his significant other, Jessica Reid, who teaches first grade.

Jacque and I moved from Lake Jackson to a house on the San Bernard River in 2002. We moved to Alamo, Texas down in the Valley in 2004 where I fiished my final three years of teaching with the Windham School District, teaching Texas inmates in the prison system. We've been living at the river house since moving back in 2007, and Jacque is back working at Dr. Grady's. We still maintain our place in the Valley and rent it out to the Winter Texans during the cold months.

I did work for two years in 2009 and 2010 with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a parole officer, but have since been unemployed.
